Thomas M. Crain, Jr., Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Crain served as Vice President of Everest Minerals Corporation, Everest Exploration Inc. and numerous limited partnerships for Everest since 1986. Mr. Crain also served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Everest Resource Company and its affiliates since 1996. His primary responsibilities were to supervise all land acquisitions, market oil and gas prospects, negotiate joint venture agreements, acquire and maintain oil and gas leaseholds, oversee investor relations, raise investor funds, and other landowner/mineral owner communications. Mr. Crain received a Bachelor of Science Degree in business from Texas Christian University. Mr. Crain has served as CEO and Chairman of Tanager Energy Inc. since July 2016.
Roger S. Braugh, Jr., Director and Audit Committee Member
Mr. Braugh is the founder and President of the Santa Rosa Energy family of companies, including Santa Rosa Energy, Ltd., Santa Rosa Operating, LLC, Paleo Oil Company LLC, and Santa Rosa Drilling LLC. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics in 1992, and graduated from Baylor University School of Law, earning his juris doctorate degree in 1996. He is a partner at the law firm of Sico Hoelscher Harris & Braugh LLP, with offices located in Houston, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi, Texas, and in Pasadena, California.
Steven Vucurevich, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Vucurevich has over 22 years of experience in senior management roles within public and privately owned companies and accounting public practice, including over 14 years of exposure to the oil and gas sector. His experience includes financial reporting, corporate finance, private equity, due diligence, financial modeling and analytics. Steven previously served as Chief Financial Officer from 2002 to 2005 of ESI Energy Services Inc., a private equity funded company which provided oilfield and pipeline construction services in Canada, the U.S. and abroad. In 2006, he transitioned to Bellatrix Exploration Ltd., a public company listed on the TSX and NYSE, where he served as Vice President and Controller and in other senior management positions. Most recently, prior to his appointment as Vice-President, Finance, Mr. Vucurevich provided accounting and financial reporting consulting services to companies like Tanager and Repsol Oil & Gas Canada Inc. He received a Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge in 1994, a Chartered Accountant designation in 1997, and a Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2015.
Betsy Coyle, Land Assistant
Ms. Coyle brings a diverse background of varied expertise primarily centered around the oil & gas industry. She has previously worked in finance as an operations supervisor for Washington Mutual managing a team of fifteen employees. Following, she worked as a land negotiator for Zaza Energy LLC, an exploration and production company, where she worked the Eagle Ford and Eaglebine plays. Ms. Coyle also gained extensive skills in business development while working for Tidal Aviation which provides personal aviation services for businesses and aircraft owners. Ms. Coyle graduated from the University of Houston in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance & Management.
